Troyergals Chat Thread!!!

That's really interesting! I've been trying to convince my dad to do tractors or something that gets them out there, but I'm not what the long term plan is yet. We don't want to feed them pellets and modified stuff like that if at all avoidable.
So, I had this great idea: two hog panels cut in half. Zip tie the four short panels into a square. Cover the top with wire to keep the cats out. Set it on concrete in the barn. Do y'all think this would work? I would probably zip tie (those things are awesome :D ) some hardware cloth on the inside of the panels. I would make it so that I could fold it up and put it against the wall. It wouldn't be good for a tractor but it would be a great grow-out or colony pen! Let me know what you think as I am seriously considering doing this...

This is a pic of her a while back. So, either she has red eyes or the flash messed it up. :P

Probably. Would you be putting anything on the floor, or just leaving concrete and cleaning it out?
I think it's worth a shot. If you don't like it you don't have to keep using it.

I would have plenty of hay in there! Both for them to bury in and I'd be putting a little fresh in each day for them to eat.
Thanks! Ya, you can always use the panels for something else...

Okay, cool.
