SHE was in the hospital for 7 hours, and then they came to the conclusion it was most likely a dry bite. Ohhh, I get chills thinking about it, I can't stand Copperheads, I had a run in with one when I was 6, and it has mortified me for life....

Yeah.....

Copperheads often employ a "warning bite" when stepped on or agitated and inject a relatively small amount of venom, if any at all. "Dry bites" involving no venom are particularly common with the copperhead, though all pit vipers are capable of a dry bite. PHEW!!! Hope she's okay!
Lol, leave it to you to know allll about them. :lau Yeah, she got a dry bite, and it has been really painful and swollen, but she is going to be okay.
