Thanks...that's basically what I'm doing too. They get pellets, veggie scraps and some grass/weeds I get for them. Especially Capim - it's elephant grass in English, I think. We have fields of it, and it's good for rabbits. But my parents want no pellets at all, which means we need a lot more variety in their food...

Nice, yeah, same here.

Ok. Not surprising. Judging by her comb, too, I don't think she'll be laying for a few more weeks. I guess you'll find out!

How are those BOs and I think it was RIRs you bought?

Nope. Yeah. Me either, they'll ship a couple weeks before lay so that the move doesn't shut them off again so probably a couple weeks earliest, maybe a month.

They be fine I guess. They stopped laying after about a week and haven't started back up yet (been a month) though one started squatting the other day. Pretty sure the BOs are both bots though they've yet to crow or try and mate.

Pretty sure, there's no where for them to hide one in that paddock. Don't have any new ones.
