Troyergals Chat Thread!!!

Big Mama has two weeks left!! Yesterday it got to about 90 and I kept seeing her off the nest for short periods and at first it worried me but then I realized she was probably regulating the tempature to make sure they didn't get too hot. I love that bird.

Too true, took me almost a year to talk my mom into letting me build a bator.

:gig Same here (well except my mom won't be home for another week.)

Wow!

 Once I've got mom with me, dad is a piece of cake! If you don't mind me asking, why is she gone so long? Just ignore this question if you'd rather not say. :P

*Nods*

Indeed, I would have never thought to cross a ranger to a SLW

 I guess I am pretty smart, aren't I? :D

Dad will go for anything as long as I can make money from it. She works three hours away Monday-Thursday and last Thursday she and my older brother went to a conference and this week I think she was going to PA to visit family. (Though plans could've changed)

I suppose.

Yeah! I hope she hatches at least 8 or 9.

My parents are pretty easy going with animals a lot of the time. I absolutely cannot have any more dogs, and talking them into a new type of animal is a little more challenging. Things like more chickens, that's fine as long as I have space. :D

 You're just jealous. :P

That would be great!

I see. Mine are about the same way, as long as there's space and they pay for themselves (doesn't necessarily have to make money as long as it pays for its feed though extra money is nice) we're usually good. That's why I got to keep the ducks while the chickens were sold, they ducks eat about $6 worth of feed a week and I can sell eggs for around $7 a dozen, at the rate they're laying in getting a dozen every three days so I'm getting two dozen a week, if I can sell those then that cover two weeks worth of feed with a little extra. (It sounds nice in theory but no one really eats duck eggs here :/ so selling isn't always easy. :/)

Yep. :D

What if you lowered the price per dozen? You might sell more and get more money in the end.

School would be B-O-R-I-N-G and I wouldn't understand anything. The only downside is, is that I don't have any friends :(

So many homeschoolers!!!

I've got a quite a few friends from judo and some from church. And then random people we meet that become good friends. And last but definitely not least all my BYC friends, of course! :D
