I know! I just raided Daliah's nest yesterday and came up with 59 eggs..... sad story is, she's a terrible mother and probably killed them by getting off too much. Candling goose eggs is pretty much impossible with the candlers we have, so we just put the facts of the cold eggs and Daliah as the mother together and accepted they probably wouldn't hatch.
Problem is, now our kitchen counter is overflowing with goose eggs.

Oh wow.

Lol sorry for the dirty egg. It had been raining that day, and I guess my silkie (who doesn't know how to get out of the rain) decided to lay on it for a min or something :D

Tiny. Lol

Wow! Yep... Next year Mama... I'm getting ducks.... She had said she didn't want something that was going to get everything muddy. I need to show her your eggs Dan she might just change her mind :D

Lol. They don't get every thing muddy, mine free range and there is very little mud there, their house gets wet and muddy but I've found if you use a nipple waterer at night the mess goes down immensely, just make sure they've got something they can at least get their whole head in during the day, otherwise they can go blind. Most of my ducks lay between 70 and 85 gram eggs.

:(

They're too young! :lau

I know :hit lol :lau In about 2 months they should be laying :yiipchick

They can be quite messy as ducklings. It's not too bad if you manage it properly.

Ducklings are absolutely nothing compared to goslings. :th
At least, last time I checked. :p
