It's a normal thing Usually people who live in the south have one I don't, none of my siblings do either. Our mom is a native Pennsylvanian and my dad was born here but raised in PA so we're all kind of a mix of PA accent and a very slight southern one, I've been told by people here that I sound like a native PA though I can tell you I don't, my family up there does though.

A kind of southern accent, less southern than most people down here, but still southern.

My mom doesn't have much if one. Her mom was born in Alabama, then moved to California. A lot of people tell me I have an accent
