Troyergals Chat Thread!!!

I have lots of butternut fruits on my plants, now I just need to bag a female and male so that I can get pure butternuts instead of the possible butternut/patty pan, butternut/ acorn, butternut/pumpkin, or butternut ornamental squash crosses which while they would be fun to grow out and see what happens aren't gonna be what I need.

That's awesome! Even though they aren't what you need, those crosses sound cool. :p

Yeah. Hey do the gold X silvers look more like sex links or Wyandottes?

Well, they only differ in one gene. Depending on the quality of your Wyandottes, I'd expect sorta in between. They shouldn't be like the normal RSLs you see, but not perfect Wyandottes either. I've never seen a cross...pics are hard to find.

Oh, and you're gonna have to look for the color on the chicks' heads/faces because they will be mostly black.
