They won't beleive me that all we need is the multi species and a bag of crushed oyster shells. Multi species is only $9.75. That's what they make me feed the ducks. Only difference is it's 2% lower in protein and doesn't have calcium.True...but if you're free ranging you don't really need layer feed. Supplement with corn and scraps. At our old house we did that. Actually they didn't really need any supplements to ranging.
