Why?

Because of how detached most people are becoming towards their food and where it comes from. They think it all comes from the store, and that's it.

Only a few years ago, people used to forage and hunt for all sorts of things; mushrooms, berries, fruits, herbs, animals, you name it. They knew exactly where their food came from. But, now, people don't even bother with that knowledge.

Like, today we were out picking more wild plums (which are totally safe; I checked the trees and did a quick test the other day), and people thought we were crazy. Like, they're just plums. Totally free, all natural, plums.

And it's not just with wild stuff. Most people don't even know where eggs come from.

I'm just so surprised, and a little disappointed too. :/


Anyone else feel this way, or is it just me? XD

Troyer's had dramatic growth in a short period of time, it was impossible to a keep up. So many people and so much fun. We haven't gone even 2 pages recently!
