So my young birds are getting pox. Good news is I'm only seeing minor cases of dry and most of my chickens already had pox.

But one was soft shell right? That's usually when pullets lay two in a day. Shells take a while to make.

One interesting thing. We were having the problems with her and really soft shells so my sister had me mix a calcium drench for goats with her feed to get it in her system and the next day she started laying hard eggs and hasn't laid a soft since. Hmm. Can't say that it was all because of the drench but it sure helped I think.

Yes one was soft. And she's laid two doubles. One 71g and one 81g her normal eggs are about 60g I think.
