True Bantams vs bantam size LF

OK, I understand bantams fly better than LF. Does that mean that bantam sized LF fly as well as true bantams or somewhere in between?
I have a bantam variert coming in and I am trying to find out more about what to expect. I have ordered a couple of books...they should be in in a week or so.

Bantams are bantams whether they are, as you say, "true bantam or lf bantam". They are chickens and all can fly to some extent, dont ever underestimate their ability to fly. They will also climb up wire if they think it will benefit them somehow. Cochin bantams and silkies are not going to fly near as much as say an OEG bantam. But both of those do not fly near as much or as high as my LF Minorcas do if given the chance.
The frequency and ability to fly is going to depend on what type of breed you are selecting.

I had bantams that were very flighty especially at shows. They are excellent flyers LF or not.
