lol. no problem. just the bold, double question marks and double exclamations. I'm just overly sensitive and easily embarrassed. And a big mouth. lol. Please don't feel bad. No need to.

I always start at the back door and work forward. We never use the front door and the back door is where the mud room is, so if that is clean it aways make the rest of the house look cleaner. And if I run out of steam at least the part of the house that everyone sees is clean.

Sorry. I used the bold because 5 years is a lifetime to me. I will admit I have clothes older than most people, but I still wear them. I just wanted to convey that when trying to declutter and use cleaning methods, 5 years is a really long time to not use something. If you try the 1 year rule, alot more stuff will leave the house faster and give you better results.

I see that you were thinking clothes. And I have plenty that are that old. But thats gonna change. I cant get new stuff if I have so much old stuff. lol. But we have lots of other things that we've aquired that hang around. Like a perfectly good washing machine. Mom got a new one, gave us her other one. Mine works fine but we kept hers in case ours goes. LOL. If i got better at organizing stuff I have that I DO want to keep, that would make a big improvement

After work, I plan on getting into gear on the laundry.

Next weekend is Operation: Remove and Store/Organize Christmas Decor. I have too much of it to spend my evening after work putting it all away.
