Trying to diagnose my sick chicken..

Okay. Do you think these symptoms are maybe indicating sour crop? I don't know a lot about it..

well now it is full since i've been feeding her..but this morning it was small and squishy

I am wondering if she may have had a stroke..has anyone had any experience with this and what I should do?

One of the most commmon issues of chickens ages 1-4 months is Cocci. When she walks does she stagger and act drunk? Still no signs of any breathing problems or with her poop?

Her poops are normal colored but flattened because she doesnt't seem to get up and go, more of just laying down and going. No problems with breathing either, she just lays there, closes her eyes, and tucks her head (almost like she's sleeping). When the rooster crows or one of the others makes a noise she jolts back awake. This morning she took a few bites of mash, didn't drink..She didn't lay an egg this morning either. I' m not sure if I want to force that again and cause more stress. This morning she fought with me more to pick her up (flapping her wings, making noise, etc.) I'm just wondering if she is letting nature takes it course..

And I should mention that she doesn't walk..she will get up to take a few steps and get comfortable and then lay back down..

I would treat her for coccidiosis right away. That would be the most common reason. You can give Corid and Tylan together so I myself would be covering 2 possibilities, cocci or a respiratory infection.

When you have the medicated water, mix a bit of it with chick feed and try to get her to eat some. Take a teaspoon of medicated water and dribble it on the side of her beak and see if she will get some in.

Is it hot by you? She may be dehydrated from not drinking.

You can get those meds at Tractor Supply and some feed stores.
