Trying to diagnose my sick chicken..

I tried to give her some scrambled egg with the corrid/water sprinkled on them and she wont eat..I also tried to squirt some on the side of her beak and she wont open it..She just burries her head into my arm and closes her eyes..I'm thinking she may be close to dying unfortunately

Samantha-I know how hard this is for you! I am so sorry. I have in the past, mixed up a mash as Semi suggested and just sort of mushed it in the side of their mouth. If you can get some into her-fantastic; if not you have tried your best. Hugs to you!

Awe thank you! I am hoping see just passes in peace with as little pain as possible! I just wish I knew what she has so I can prepare better for those signs in the future.

The most common reason at that age would be Cocci. And with one that I had last year, I treated and treated, and still lost. I had an autopsy performed to confirm and she was filled with it (nothing else showed up). Her cage mate (they were in quarantine) never even became ill. So some chickens just have weak systems. There was never blood in her poop either-she just suddenly started acting weak and walking like she was drunk. I at first suspected she got into some poison in the yard.
FYI: Sour Crop you can usually smell nasty sour breath and their crops swell up till it looks like an oversized baseball in there

Yea that sounds like what it is. She has always been one of my quiet ones, who followed me around..and then the other day she was really looking weak and not her usual "quiet" self. That's probably what the issue is..Thank you for all your help though! I don't think I'm going to force her to lay or anything..I may just let nature take its course because she is so weak..

I got her to drink some more water with the corrid in it which i guess is good..she is standing up more now and then laying back down. She attempts to preen herself near her vent and under the wing but can't seem to reach due to being so weak. Is that a good sign of her atleast attempting to? I'm trying to find every bit of hope that she will pull through.

I'm hoping what little water I'm getting her to drink will help..keeping my fingers crossed!

And she did not lay an egg today (probably from being too weak). Will that become backed up and cause more problems?
