Trying to drown each other

This is generally for older ducks (and chickens). It is like when a person goes through a hormonal change - they can change features (women get mustaches, etc....)
As well birds can take on characteristics of the opposite gender when one is not present - like my chicken screeches out a crow sometimes, but she is still totally female and lays eggs. There is no rooster to crow for them. I think she hears a neighboring rooster and imitates.

I have all girls and they mate in the pool pretty regular. Little scary when you first see it but just duck sex. They don't seem to care about gender.
