trying to find my shipped eggs

Mine didn't show anything either when I checked Thursday and Friday, but the post office called me by 7am on Friday to pick up.

Post office tracking is NOT like UPS where you see every stop along the way in a timely fashion. The PO usually isn't updated until late evening, and even tho then order may sit somewhere for quite awahile before it moves on. I always have stuff before the tracking number catches up.

With basic ground service (I am getting supplies) on UPS, my delivery date is Monday. My packages have been sitting in Chicago since Fridaynight. Since regular ups doesn't deliver on weekends, it sits there in Chicago till Monday. They they will have a flurry of activity and it will go Bedford park and say something like "4:30 am out for delivery." Of course delivery could be in the evening but at least it's coming.

IF UPS did accept chicken/eggs - you would know where you package is - of course the UPS men seem to throw things as often as USPS. Most boxes I receive are caved in somewhere- the trick is to solidly fill a box - with insulation, , peanuts, newspaper etc. so it holds it's shape firmly - of course then shipping weight is higher - oh well.

talked to seller and if they arent here by monday night she will gladly send me some more eggs. both of us are not happy with the post office though grrr

we both are hoping that they get here though.

I live in PA an had ordered eggs from New York, literally 200 miles away. The package took 5 days to arrive, not counting sunday, and one side of the box was crushed in....and the USPS refers to this as priority service

seems to have happened here to there is no tracking on it whats so ever. i am highly upset at the way the post office is handling the tracking. its one thing to be stuck some weres but to never update the tracking till its to late thats bs(parding my lang. here)

I had a laptop shipped via USPS, with tracking that never did arrived. As far as I could tell from the tracking is that someone in my local PO got a brand new laptop. The seller sent another one, but I asked them to put the box in another unmarked box. That one arrived. I wonder if marking the box with anything that may ID the contents, somehow makes the box a target. I have read enough on BYC to know that not all PO's are created equal. The PO's tracking seems to be a bit of a joke. It doesn't always seem like it's worth anything.

i would have been calling them at the po and asking about it if the tracking said it was there. the last place on tracking my eggs were seen was in columbia,mo which is the state they were shipped from.
