trying to find my shipped eggs

My eggs have been in the same place since Friday according to their tracking system.
If they seriously have not left there since then, I might blow a gasket on someone in the Post Office when they do arrive. Their tracking systems are a joke. The last eggs I ordered took a week to get here, so I have come to the conclusion that priority shipping = glorified snail mail.
Sigh. Crossing my fingers that our eggs show up on Monday!

I firmly believe in disguising packages. Can't tell you how many times we have had birthday cards etc arrive with envelopes partially open. Ridiculous!

Out of 5 shipments of eggs from different states I only had one even remotely late and that was only by an hour or so. Also, out of the 80+ eggs shipped to me in the last three weeks none of them were cracked or broken. I'm sure it still happens a lot so I'm feeling fortunate that mine all arrived ok. We are on day 17 for some of mine, yeah!

I hopeful get your eggs asap!

If you used the florecent green ticket then its just delivery conformation. It will only update when the eggs are delivered...not sure which one you used.

I think if they were anything BUT shipped eggs the lack of a proper tracking system wouldn't be as big of a deal. I think anxiety gets the best of me as I worry about their viability being affected.

It's a mother's instinct to worry I suppose, LOL!

When my eggs didn't show up on time this week I called the Post Office and the man informed me that " the tracking #'s are computer generated and don't really mean anything! "

I pointed out to him that that is probably why the postal Dept. is failing - his reply " I don't believe that's true - it's just because it's the information age!"

haha yea right it should still work like its ment to though and its been in use for years there is no excuse for the lack of tracking

When my tracking didn't update and my box of eggs arrived 7 days later, I had to pay $3 more postage due to my mail carrier. She told me the postage due what caused the box to be delayed. This box had almost half the eggs broken and destroyed air cells. I think the box just kept recycling through the distribution center for days. None hatched.

I paid $130 for those eggs and the seller said they felt bad but didn't ever sent me more eggs.

I felt it was sellers fault for shorting the shipping cost to save a buck.
