I don't have the ladies yet but I am reading everything that I can see relating to keeping chickens. I have a feeder and water bottles, the food and bedding as well as the coop and hubby has been making it predator proof around the outside. It will be close to the house with an intruder light. I will keep them shut in for a week then let then into the run. After that I will take them to another art of the garden each day that is just for them to spend their day and we can see them from the house.
