ok if they are skinny and dark red now is going to be ur best chance to save it. just be really really careful and if it starts to bleed alot when u start taking the membrane off stop imediatly.and just give the other ones time but do not open and close it just open it once for as short of a period as possible to help this little one out of its shell. but be really really careful

o my goodness i wish u were here to do it for me! Im scared to death to open it cuz while ago this morn, all i did was make it bleed

Seriously...let it finish hatching on it's own. If there are ANY blood vessels left it's NOT ready to hatch. Even once the blood vessels shrivel away, it may still be absorbing yolk.

I've helped a few eggs out...and they always do way worse or die. Only the chick knows when it's time to emerge. If your temps were low for incubation hatch day will likely be late and that's fine. I am so serious, make sure humidity stays high and shut the incubator and let the poor thing come out when it's ready. You do not need to do an egg c-section. It's NORMAL for them to rest quietly during hatch.
