Trying to learn more about gender and breeds of my 8 week old chickens

Brah's a rooster

At this age he wouldn't be a rooster, but rather a cockerel. I'm seeing darker feathers on the wings, which do indicate male specific coloration, I'm hesitant to day male for some reason though @Overo Mare any thoughts?

Hey all! I confirmed 3 cockerels and 1 hen today by searching through their feathers and finding small saddle feathers.
