I’m learning so much. Coyotes hunt alone or in pairs. But live in families.

Foxes and coyotes don’t care about dog urine, or wolf urine or even urine from Jim Bob. They’ll smell it and most likely investigate it. They’re not stupid. They know whatever pissed there isn’t still there.

My husband and I hunt them at night with night vision. They are very very smart. Have good sense of smell. If it's coming regularly you could come out before dark sit and wait. Spray yourself with scent eliminator and be very still. They see you before you see them.

I know with foxes my hubby get those traps you hang on trees with meat on them. But we put up our dogs until we catch a fox so we don’t risk the dogs being the goners. But I dunno if that works for coyotes.

I personally don’t like harming animals so I leave it all up to my husband and look the other way.

My lab loves doing that too and eating up some chicken poop along the way. (Soo grosss)
