I just received egg through the mail and 24 of the poor things are beat to H@&& . They are large eggs that where packed to tightly together in a egg crate meant for much smaller eggs so a lot of them have crunches where one egg was pressed ageist another.
Would wax or tape help or is it not worth the bother of trying to save these eggs.
Thanks
Tammy

I once received 12 eggs in a carton that were packed way too tight, and five crunched each other.

I didn't try to save them; I just fed them to my dogs.

There was a sixth egg that may have had a very slight hairline crack and I kept it.

That chick did, indeed, hatch but was VERY small and died a month later.
Don't know if it was small because of the crack or it was just gonna be small from the beginning.

I guess it's up to you what you want to do or if it's even worth doing something.
