TSC Chick Days!

My wife and daughter picked up 6 last week. They were not asked for any information, although the person working the chick area did grill my daughter on the purpose of the purchase. When my daughter told her they are for a school FFA project, the brooder was already set up and heated, we have feed, bedding etc., and are building a coop, the interrogation stopped.

I have been asked for name/address and signature at TSC when buying the big jugs of liquid fertilizer or glyphosate. Basically stating it is for home/farm use. I assume this is due to licensing requirements if these chemicals are used for commercial landscape business purposes.

I bought some chicks today from TSC and was asked for my blood in exchange! Just kidding! I was asked for my phone number and address, though. I'm an outlaw and I'm not worried. I just don't want my information sold and start receiving junk mail/phone calls I don't want.

I plan to call the corporate office tomorrow and ask why they require this. Just seems silly.

Better to get spammed than to be placed on some "watch list" for daring to raise your own sustenance. Not that it would ever happen.

LOL! I'm already on that list. I voted for Ron Paul today, so they know where I live.

I'm a weird American who actually likes the US Constitution. Crazy, I know.
