TSC Chick Days!

our only local TSC is due to get their first batch on the 31st of march.
same with the only local agway that carries chicks too...

TSC in Clio, MI is set to get them April 1st. I know Big Acre in Davison, MI has had them for weeks and continue to get new shipments... If this helps anyone.

Here in Rock Hill SC tsc chick days started last week 3/16 and should continue for the next few weeks.

I called this afternoon, and TSC in Ithaca got their first shipment of chicks in this morning. I don't remember what breed she said, but they were layers. Ithaca AGWAY has a calender that specifically tells what breeds and sex links they are getting in on which dates, and it also lists the birds primary use. The folks I've spoken to at AGWAY have been much more knowledgeable than the folks at the Ithaca TSC store.

you realize this thread is 2 years old?
anyway I too was looking at the TSC website and while they do have New Hamphires, they dont have Orpingtons..which I would like to have along with my Plymouth Rocks, guess I just want the friendliest hens in town!

Cool thing is, they sell them every year! Glenmont TSC is half price chicks Sunday & Monday too!

LOL...thanks.....I'm a total newbie, and I didn't check to see how old the thread was. I'm just sooooo amped about getting my flock started, I searched for TSC chick days and found this string and replied without looking.

I just came back from TSC in New Hampshire ( right over the border for me) and they require a purchase of 12 there, so I just got some supplies ( tax free) and will goto a Mass TSC tomorrow, I asked about Brahma and Orpies but he said I had to order 25! i dont need that many to start!

Chambersburg PA and Lewistown PA TS had chicks starting last Thursday. We picked up 6 on Saturday and they are doing very well! Spunky in fact!
