Hi again!
Y’all successfully identified my original pair of ducks as a female Welsh Harlequin and a male (unsure of breed on Huckleberry). We just got another pair because… duck math? Any ideas on this pair? My guesses were a Buff and a Blue Swedish, but the darker one looks more brown now. Not dark enough to be a typical Swedish? I’m unsure. Thanks for your help!

This one looks like a goose... but is a duck. What kind?

It's a duck, and yes, I would guess also a Golden 300. Possibly an Appleyard, but more likely a Golden 300.

Thank you so much for your response! Do you think my 8 week old pictured above (the dark one) is also a Golden 300? Or something else? Thank you!

Could be! Since they're hybrids, they can come in many colors and patterns. Do you have a duckling picture of her?

I do! This is Huckleberry as a baby. His voice sounds raspy like a boy, but could be a girl I guess? My only other guess is he might be a dark Campbell. Thoughts?

Also, our newest dark duckling is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the yellow duckling. Are Golden 300s typically small? Could it be a runner that hasn’t stood up straight yet? They aren’t even a week old yet.

I’ll try to get a picture, but I think we may have a runner? It’s very hard to tell in their brooder. Is a runner upright when resting or just when it’s on the move?
TIA!
