Just got these babies a few days ago! Some of them have pink beaks and some of them have orange beaks. My first instinct is that they’re Pekin and/or Muscovy.

Anyone know what breed this duck is? Got him from TSC this year, as well as the Pekin. He's got dark blue wing feather patches. Doesn't look like any of the purebreds I've seen on Hoover's Hatchery.

It's the black and white guy. Sorry the pic is terrible. Zoomed in on a photo I already had. It's pouring right now so I can't get a good pic.

I picked up 2 of these ducklings about 2 weeks ago and my wife promptly snuck to the store to get 2 more. I'm pretty sure I got a white crested, a black Swede and a Rouen. But the last one I have no idea what he is. Some days his beak looks deep orange, some days it's a more fleshy peach color. And he is a complete trouble maker and a bad influence on the other ducklings. The others will sit down to drink nicely and then he will run over and start picking up water and spitting it all over the newly cleaned brooder. I could have them all eating peas out of my hand and then he will come over and convince them all that I'm a monster and they need to run. The white crested is the only one that fully trusts me. I keep getting the black Swede and the Rouen to warm up to me and then this little jerk will come over and tell them to run away.

i got this duckling from tractor supply a few days and i have no clue what he is. the spots on his back have gotten darker and his neck is slightly longer than the mallard duckling we got w him. i was thinking either khaki campbell or some type of runner? any thoughts?

What did this duckling end up looking like as an adult? Did you determine its breed? I have a solid gray that looks similar to this that I just got at a feed store a week or so ago.

The "Magpie" ducks i have ordered in 2019 look like this, but i am sure IdealPoultry ran out of Magpies and sent me Black Swedish (mix?) ducks instead.
Magpies should have way more white in their plumage. A Black Swedish is crudely defined as a black duck with a white bib.
