TSC IS LYNCHING CHICKENS!

12 yellow chicks? Ever find out what they were? Sometimes they sell Cornish so unless you want some meaty birds I hope they at least told you what they were! :(
No breed identification given because A) the employees there are not hired based on knowledge of well, anything. B) It was a straight run from Hoover Hatchery. Apparently "Straight Run" means: "We have no idea and good luck."

Straight run normally means the don’t know the gender.

Earlier in this thread I was chastised for using the term “lynch” to describe chicks being hung by their necks to determine their gender. I was told I didn’t know the meaning of the words I was using and that I need to use less offensive words to describe the lynching of chicks. So I won’t use the term “lynch” anymore.

Having said that, I went to three more Tractor Supply stores today and didn’t see any employees choking their chickens.

I also just found a really cool feature on this site. It’s called the “ignore” button. It works very well. It’s just like changing the channel on a TV, if your offended you can ignore the offender and go on your merry way. :D
I thought it was a clever way to title your thread. Hyperbole to make a point and get folks’ attention. I found it a pleasing and creative use of the language. People shouldn’t go around being all offended all the time. It’s bad for everyone’s blood pressure including the offended person’s.

LOL!

It was a poor use of a term used to incorrectly describe something specific. It was in very poor taste and it was inappropriate. My comment was made to indicate that as such. And it's a real head-scratcher as to how you can find the term "lynching" to be
pleasing and creative
because quite frankly it is rather disturbing.

However, I am interested as to whether you would be OK if someone incorrectly or inappropriately used one word or another to describe you or something you did just simply to get attention for themselves. My guess is that you would not be ok with it.

Funny that you would revisit an issue that you think should be dead and buried, but bring it back up. Several days ago I had "unwatched" this thread, and had moved on. Interestingly, many others have not.

Then why have you come back and continued the disagreement?

I think this is one of those situations where we each have different opinions on it, and that’s okay.

This could be written a lot calmer and less vulgar.

I know tens of teenagers working minimum wage jobs for companies that do it well and care about their job. So no, not every one aged 18-30 fits your extremely rude description.
My son is one of them ... the good guys. I guess I did something right somewhere along the way!
