my silkies are not sexed at this age and unless it looks like a roo, it doesn't rule out that it's not roo. I have one that is 8 months old that I still can't tell if its a roo. I have mostly blues, some buffs
the lavender orps are 1 lavender roo and 1 split lav hen and 1 visual lav hen. available as pair or trio.

With showers on the way for tomorrows swap will most people still be going? I don't want to get up that early and travel that far to find out that it was cancelled or that noone shows up. Who is planning to go rain or shine?

I'm still going. I know Cranberry Creek Farm would be very disappointed if I didn't show up with her Anconas.

Depending on which weather person you listen to the showers may hold off until the afternoon. So the morning might be okay. I don't have a great way of keeping everything dry but but think I can MacGyver something up if it starts to rain.

Anyone good at sexing 10 week old Buff Orpingtons? I am bringing seven and still can't be 100 % sure who the roos are. I know I have at least one since i have heard the beginnings of a crow but can't identify the culprit.

Also will have a couple NN EE roos about four months old. Perhaps some EE pullets too. Depends on how ambitious I am in the morning. And how much room I have in the Saturn. And if I get the Saturn back tonight as promised. It is in the shop for new front tires, brakes and struts so I can drive with a valid inspection sticker. It expired in February so I figured it might be a wise idea to get a valid one. Estimated time of getting the car back is about 6 or 7 tonight.

Mom apparently forgot that she told me she would go to this and even talked about buying more chickens, because yesterday I said something about it and she told me she has other plans.
