I drove 1.5 hours to the closest TSC to get chicken feed and saw a bin of small chicks on sale for $1. I couldn’t help it and got 5 cute balls. They were labeled pullets but no idea of the breed. Could anyone help identify the breed?
1&5 are same breed - red with yellow belly
2&4 probably same breed - dark brown, 2 is almost black brown
3 is gray with yellow/white belly, my favorite, such a pretty color

thank you 😊

Is production red known to be aggressive and bossy? One of them (#1) kept pecking others . The gray one (#4) has a bleeding sore on its nose :( I had to send the bully to the big girl brooder (three 3-4 weeks old mutt chickens, gender unknown). Surprisingly they get along very well:yesss:
