I’ve never bought chicks from TSC, but I happened to spot a frizzle in the “assorted bantam” bin, and they were on clearance, so I ended up with 7. The silkies and cochins were easy to identify, but two of them have me stumped.

First is this little cream/buff baby that’s half the size of the silkies.

The second one is this little green-legged mystery. Single comb. It usually has a very upright tail but it was chilled being out of the brooder because our temp has dropped very quickly today and that window had been open for air circulation.

I love the silkies...our TS never carries them though. I heard they don't integrate well...but no worries with 7! Love your little mystery birds!

I went to TSC last year for chicken feed and came home with a puppy. A young man and woman that didn't have enough money to feed themselves much less a dog wanted me to take their puppy. I gave them 50 bucks and a ride to the Interstate. I named her "Molly".
