Tube Feeding Ducks - discussion on tube feeding ducks

The smallest one I have is a 5, or maybe it's a 6, but it's way too small except for a quail chick maybe? Largest I have is a 30, and that is perfect for full sized ducks, peafowl, and geese. Let me see if I can find some and take pictures for comparison.
 
I get confused easily. I am looking for a way to explain to people how to be sure the crop is progressing down the esophagus and not the trachea.

For a goose, does tube go in to the side or center? What's used to lube the tube? Silicone Cath from vet is what I have but was not shown how to use. Have Higgins intune parrot baby bird formula. Sent pm as well on the "how"

Tube should go down the goose's right side. For lube I use water.
