The second picture shows the pattern as a chick.

This is super helpful, thanks kind stranger! I hope at least one turns red like that 🧐
No problem! Turkens/NN are great chickens! My top Nn hen went broody 3 weeks ago and has been a great first time momma.

when she was young she was black with rusty fuzz sorta like your darker colored chick. She’s got a pretty messy gold lacing all grown up. The red Pyle is my top pick cockerel this year so far. Big guy and already very generous and even tempered for a 4 month old.

Both are beautiful! I'm rehoming my silver Columbian nn rooster today. He's absolutely gorgeous and huge but he's the only boy that won't play nice. My nn chicks seem pretty chaotic too so I'm not sure how I'll actually end up feeling about them, maybe the barred rock blood will calm them

Update! A fourth chick I thought was just going to be black seems like she may be mottled so I'm adding her to the post (she might also be my favorite, shhhh) excuse the mess, I let them play while I tried to take pictures..
Chick 1 aka Stink. I still don't know exactly but she has some white tips, they may go away idk. They run down her back, wings, and chest

Chick 2 aka Trudy. Some kind of wild type, going to be so pretty just wait. Her breast is kinda reddish too, so so pretty 🦋🦋

Chick 3 aka Wanda. I think someone was right, she has some sort of gold lacing happening. Idk how I didn't see it before cuz I've had plenty of gold laced birds. She too has white tips on some feathers

See white on the top left of her chest and a few spots on the right, they seem pretty solid. Unlike the white my red cochins had and lost

Chick 4 aka Velma. Thought I got 2 black ones but one has been getting more and more white tips and whole feathers, primarily on her chest, shoulders, wing tips, and 'ankles'. I'll feel super lucky if she is cuz mottling is my favorite!!

Any more updated pictures?
The black chick will very likely molt out those white feathers.

These guys got big enough to go into my banny pen outside where they did well for a couple weeks before I found 2 dead in one night snuggled like they got too cold, so I brought them in and all I have left from that batch is the solid black nn and a lavender Orpington, neither of which I included in this post. So far they've been ok but idk what happened to the others
