Turkens.....Naked Neck Chickens

Thank you all! The more I find out about this breed, the more I like it. Buff Orpingtons are my very favorite, but when I start my flock, I think a few of the TNN's will be added to the flock. I've held a 4 month old hen recently and she was just as calm and sweet as pie.

You can't go wrong with the Orpington breeds. Always super friendly, lap sitters, just fun to have around.

Oh my gosh, I just LOVE Orpintons! I had one so take, she would walk right up to me, I lowered my hand and she would walk right into it. I'd carry her around, she was so calming and sweet! We even watched TV together! Definitely want Orps again! And some TNN's! They have captured my heart!

I like the naked necks that @DesertChic breeds, she has layers that lay colored eggs. She is in AZ, but I know that she sells eggs to hatch.

Naked necks are my favorite breed, if I had to only pick one breed it would be that, hands down. If they get out of their run, they come to tell me theyre out. They can self regulate their temperature by extending or retracting their necks, they lay all year round, nice big eggs.
