    Hello All,

Can I raise a couple of turkeys in the same pen as the 20 or so chickens I have? Thanks for the help

Hi, it would be best to raise them separately. Chickens can carry a disease known as Blackhead, that can be very deadly to turkey & peafowl. That said, may people do raise and keep them together, especially with a good worming program. It is just a hard call, as chickens may never show signs they have it until you start losing turkeys etc.... Check and see how prevalent Blackhead is in your area.

We have raised them together for many years with no issues - turkeys, geese, ducks, chickens, peafowl, guineas.
