He was actually in the house when that was taken because he was injured. His tail feathers had to frow back. Poor thing. We had a young one that couldn't speak for a while. Not sure what cleared it up though and he was like 4 weeks, not a year. But he literally couldn't male a sound. Now he's sick and doesn't gobble again, but yours already looks healthier than mine

Mine we think might have mareks, but sure where he would have gotten it from though. He was actually in the house when that was taken because he was injured. His tail feathers had to frow back. Poor thing.
Hmmm. I'll try that.Might sound silly, but have you played turkey gobbling videos on youtube? (Would be interesting to see if he has a reaction to that. The SOUND obviously, not the video part. LOL)
Speaking from experience with a cockerel I had.. and not sure if a Tom would be different. I played sounds from Youtube for him, and he started attacking the phone I was playing it on. So.. caution advised!Might sound silly, but have you played turkey gobbling videos on youtube? (Would be interesting to see if he has a reaction to that. The SOUND obviously, not the video part. LOL)
