Anonymous Chicken
Crowing
Okay. We will try to keep her off of grass and hay, but she's not eating anything anyway. It would reveal her heart and kidneys are shutting down.
The reason I want her off the hay and grass is to stop her from ingesting any more. ( if she has)
It is possible she has an over stuffed or sour crop. It is also possible it could be an infection of some kind. I have seen the green cottage cheese poop before.
As I recall, I used an anti-biotic. (Terramycin) I can’t remember if it succeeded or not.
I wish you well, and try not to blame yourself if she doesn’t make it. Keeping a BBW alive for a year and a half is a feat in itself.
I know some people claim to keep them for years, however, they are the exception, not the rule.
You might want to contact @casportpony as she is the poop expert. Nothing she enjoys more than playing in bird poop.
Thank you again for your help!
