Turkey hens?

I have two ( I think they are royal palms) turkeys I bought from a local farmer a month ago. He said he thought they were females but was unsure.

I also bought 4 small turkeys but have no idea type or breed.

Any help would be great.

The 2 at the top are royal palms but they are too young to be sure. Just keep watching over the next few weeks and you will figure it out. I don't know how old they are but the Toms usually have a bit more black than the hens. The one in the middle of the bottom pic is a burbon red and the others look to be some kind of bronze mix but i'm not sure.

First of all

The top two are Royal Palms, do you know how old they are? I have a trio, was hoping for 2 hens and 1 tom but ended up the other way around. Mine are now about 4 to 4 1/2 months old, the toms have a very distinct black banding on their breast feathers whereas the hen is mainly white with a little grayish in the breast area. Even her colors on her back are muted compared to the two toms. Of course, now the toms are strutting since they have moved in with my adult birds too.

Yep, the top two are Palms. The one in profile looks girlie to me but it's hard to tell this early and from the picture. The other pic has a Bourbon and three Bronzes.
