Turkey sitting on eggs.... lots

I didn't think they brooded this time of year. Where are you located? That's quite the pile of eggs!

Yes, quite a few 26 since early oct. Central Oklahoma.

Any suggestions what can be done with all the would be turkey's? I have eaten one & given some away.

Ike my male has what looks to be steel wool growing out of his chest area. So far it's about 1 & 1/2 inches long...both he & my female are 8months old.

That's his beard. Tom's grow a beard in the middle of their chests. Sometimes a hen will grow one too.

Oh, ok thanx memphis. I thought it was his chest hair, u know like reaching puberty...lol.
