Turkey with returning sour crop?

the dose for Sage-Hard is 0.23 ml per each pound.
.23 times 21 pounds = 4.83 ml
Give it to her on day one and again on day ten.
Okay so she gets exactly 4.83 ml by syringe orally? Tips and tricks on getting it down her she’s a strong girl and will fight to get away. Also when I used to medicate my down I was told to only go on one side of the throat is that true or just shoot it straight back and down as far as I can?
And I don’t need to be deworming for days in a row?

Yes I am using this stuff. So 4.83 ml is a safe good dose to use on my big turkey girl?

I’ll treat her after I get response on my last post lol so I do it right I don’t wanna mess up. And so I do not treat everyday for a few days in a row like I did on my turkey I tried treating for gapeworm a while back? Just once like today and then ten days from today I’d do it again?

Just let me know, I’ll treat once I hear back lol :) cause if I treat on day one and again on day 10 I will be gone on day ten unless I wait a few days to ensure I’m here on day 1 and 10 unless I need to do consecutive days in a row.
Also looking into bra stuff

The others with more worming experience than I may eventually stop by and correct me, but I would go with a dose for a 22lb turkey (rounded up) and give her .5ml dose or .6 to be sure. If it turns out that's not correct, which I wouldn't have any problem using that dose on one of my birds, then you can note it and correct it when you do the ten day dose.

Well @Texas Kiki did the math and I checked which would be 4.87 for 21 pounds since she’s between 21 and 22 which is close enough to 5ml that I don’t mind going with 5 cause it’s so dang close. I know the dose pretty much just trying to figure out if I should be medicating for a few days in a row like I did back for a different turkey like or treat her at day one and then follow up again on the 10th day only like she mentioned previously. Cause I haven’t medicated today yet because i can of course treat for day one but I’ll be gone 10 days from now so trying to figure it out to be exact before I get started. This is just the deworming portion but I’m trying to figure it out so I can rule out worms, but I want to do it properly by how long I should be giving it to her of course

You have another method of ruling out worms - a fecal float test. If you have a vet you use regularly, they could test a sample of your turkey's poop for worms and coccidia for a nominal fee. They can have results in just a couple hours. That could make worming completely unnecessary.

I've had chickens for about twelve years, and they've never had worms, though they free range. Fecal float tests every few years have verified this. No sense at all in worming if there are no worms.

We have a site that could possibly test it’s a lab not a vet so it would be a few days before I’d get results. But I can call and ask about prices tomorrow just in case, short on money though. So if I need I can always deworm here I just want this crop down it’s awfully big and full today
