Turkey with returning sour crop?

The crop bra for a turkey would begin with measuring the diameter of her crop. Instead of four inches square for a chicken, you may need a square six to seven inches square. Then measure from her crop, under her wing, to the middle of her back. That will be the length of the straps.

The idea is to cradle and support her crop in a hammock, adjusting the straps each morning for several days until a morning comes that her crop is empty. You want to raise her crop up by about one-third, so the crop becomes high enough to drain the contents at night, the drain from the crop not being at the bottom, but rather about a third of the way from the bottom.

It takes a few days of patient adjustment to get the bra adjusted just right so you get an empty crop in the morning.

Sometimes a crop bra is necessary even with yeast treatment since it does no good to try to kill the yeast if the crop can't empty. It's like trying to brush your teeth with chocolate. It sounds great but won't get you to your objective. (Actually, my dentist uses chocolate flavored polishing paste when I get my teeth cleaned. Yum.)

It certainly won't hurt to worm your girl. If she has a big load in her intestines, that can cause a blockage and cause sour crop. Worming is easy. The crop bra may take some ingenuity and patience.

Yeah I will definitely have to try and get the stuff to make one and try and get that all figured out before I leave next week. I’ll try and get the supplies soon and can try and get help with the crop and getting it situated on her

Many of us us Safeguard for goats on our chickens. It's perfectly safe.
Okay. I just need to figure out the dose for her by her weight and how many times a day to do it and for how many days total. And also tips and tricks on getting it down safely does it go straight back which side of the mouth/ throat and how to administer because she’s nice but definitely not near as hand tamed as my other turkey I owned. :th
My girl right now. She just laid a hard shelled egg too right now
