FINALLY! I forgot to keep track when Pearl started setting, so I had NO idea when or IF these were due. I go out there to check, and there's a turkey egg (broken) on the ground. It's ALIVE! Vince (daddy) was out of the pen to free range...would HE have brought it out? I stuck the egg under a broody silkie for now to help get it warm. There's tapping in the other turkey eggs too. I about lost my arm when I checked! Wish us luck. I love baby turks!

Yippee!
Handsome couple!
Is this their first time to become parents?

Vincent became a father last year, when I put eggs under a broody hen. This is our first experience with a Turkey broody! He's 2, she's one.

justusnak, teach you to laugh at your poor tom turkey! You crushed his spirit and he was trying to impress you!
