I had a poult hatch today that has no feathering on it's head or neck, will it grow feathers in? I don't have a photo because it's still in the incubator but I'll try to get one soon.

Yea, it should be ok. Any problem with the hatching? Do you know why there aren't any feathers?

I had a couple turkey poults last year at about the same age as you birds. They didn't eat any June bugs (as they were not exposed) my bird Just ate toads and frogs that were about as big as there heads!! They used to eat them in one bite!!!
I had 4 BBB last year. I had a kids wading pool set up in the back yard. This pool would collect tons of June bugs. As soon as I would let them out of the coop at first light they would race each other to the pool and gobble down the bugs as fast as they could. Very entertaining birds. Here's some pics as they were enjoying the pool because it was so hot last summer.
Looks like play time at my house. My turkeys do the same thing. It's so funny seeing them in the water. :)

I have a young poult an I live in FL will I need to do that when it gets older in the summer ( when I say need I mean both NEED an if it would be nice to let it do that)
You may think about getting a pool for them. They love cooling off in the water.

Thought I would share some pics of my three turkeys. I am so proud of them. The first set, is the three of them at one day old, the next set is them at 3 weeks and 5 days.

ETA Can you tell me what sex they are yet? I can't tell, all they do is follow me around and chirp. I have to watch where I step so I don't step on a turkey.
