That's why, when asked what breed, I suggest maybe trying a BBW or BBB for this year while you are growing out your Heritage for next year. Home grown hybrids are still better than store bought!

I will just wait till next year to have one for dinner. My DD will have turkey and ham and alot of other meat, we will likely take a ham. They even have gator alot of times. lol

WHat about 1 ham and 1 turkey??
I will eat what ever turkey they have there probably one of her store bought turkey and one of her father in law's home grown turkey and there will be several other turkey, ham and anything else anyone can think of just about to eat. lol they love to eat! lol

I remeber those days:: fill the plate up, eat it all up, and refill it!!!! FOod doesn't taste as good as it used to, so if I manage to fill the plate once and eat it all , I"m doing good.

Besides, no one makes a better turkey dinner than my mother-- she is a fabulous cook.
That is nice that you still have your parents. My father always used to cook all of the holiday meals. He was the chef of the family. My mother was a good cook but dad was the cook.
I can only eat one plate of food. But left overs are great!
