You can chop it up and offer it free choice as they know how much they need. If you add it to their food you may overdo it and end up with garlicky tasting eggs. My girls went crazy for it the first time I have them some.

I know....got another two eggs today!! They’re working very hard. Maybe it’s because they’ve just started laying. It may tail off as the year progresses, I don’t want them worn out. A friend of my sons is waiting for a clutch of their eggs to hatch so I’ll be a Very Proud mom, hopefully, this year!
