Turning eggs by hand.

I need info from people who have turned their eggs by hand, How often do you turn the eggs and what time.. What's a good routine?

I turned them 3 times...after each meal...kinda corny, but it made me remember to turn them

Oh gosh...I've hatched so many and now I have a turner...best I remember those were shipped eggs and I got like a 50% hatch...which is AMAZING with shipped eggs! Hand turning works better than the turner IMO, but I am NOT turning 40 eggs 3 times a day by hand

I'm a hatchaholic...so I'd get carpal tunnel hand turning now

I turned 11 bantam eggs 3 times per day by hand and just had 100% hatch rate.. 2 dies shortly after hatching and the 9 left are doing very well.

at what time did u turn them. could i see pictures of your inccubator?

The incubator is just a home made foam type with a pc fan and I put a window on top.

I am turning my marans eggs by hand right now because I have two bators going and the egg turner is in the other one. I am doind 3 x's a day. Hope that will be enough.

I hand turn 3 times a day when I can remember to. I've had 100% hatches at times from shipped eggs and hand turning.
