what would ha[[en if you did not turn the turner off and eggs were hatching? When you stop the turner do you move them out of rack, Do you treat duck eggs the same as chicken eggs?

There is a high chance that the chicks legs or a wing will get caught in the turner and crushed. I take chicken eggs out of the turner 3 days before they are due to hatch, or when they pip the internal membrane, whichever comes first. Same with ducks.

Incubating duck eggs is a little different than chicken eggs, and you have to hatch them at a much higher humidity.
