Hi,
I am hatching out bobwhite quail for the first time and I made what I am hoping is not a fatal error: I continued turning the eggs (there's an automatic turner in our incubator) up 'til day 22. Is there a chance some of our quail will still hatch out? Two seemed to start pecking out yesterday, but no action since, so I'm afraid they didn't make it
Today is day 23 and when we candled them a week or so ago, we probably had about 15 (out of 25) that appeared to be developing. And, on a separate note, if we DO get any quail, does anyone have any suggestions for what kind of feed to put in the brooder?
Thanks!
