thanks for the link i will be sure to check tomorrow and lister carefully to my ducks sound but as you guys pointed out it is gtting a curly tail feather so i doubt i will hear actual quacking but i will see

I have a mallard x buff that people keep thinking is a khaki, i see why now

it quacks but it is quiet quacks i listened for a good long time today no where as lousd as the female quacks i heard
