So it started snowing and Turken was hunkered down next to a log, pathetically hiding from the wind... So now he can cozy up with his hens and his turtleneck!

my mom crocheted it with some thrift store yarn
i'm keeping an eye out for some black yarn for him, but those two hens seem to love the blue on him

There is evidence that female birds will give preference to males with more color. In many scientific studies, they actually have to be careful what color bands they give the male birds, so as not to artificially skew their results. Maybe he needs a rainbow one, get his girls "in the mood" so to speak.
