We sometimes have people call who have bought a horse we bred (identified by the brand). If the papers haven't been transferred since we sold it, we'll do our best to get them papers in their name. If they've been transferred in the meantime though, there's nothing we can do since we're no longer the registered owner. I think it's mainly a safeguard on the part of the breed registry against registering stolen horses.
